I am delighted to introduce you to my second book
"Amazing Animals From Around The World "

This exciting sequel continues the story of Ellie the Snail,
who now helps children discover the diverse world of animals.

Concept and Structure

While creating this book, I faced several challenges. First, I needed to find a way to connect the two stories. In the first book, Ellie explored fruits and vegetables in the garden, but now she needed to transition to the world of animals. The solution came naturally: Ellie finds herself transported from the farm to the zoo in a box of apples — her favorite food. Thus, her new adventure begins.
Next, I had to structure the book to be not only interesting but also educational. I wanted to showcase as many animals as possible from different parts of the world: Europe, Asia, South and North America, Australia, Africa, the Arctic, and Antarctica. To complete the structure, I added chapters about domestic animals, marine creatures, and adorable baby animals. In the end, there are ten spreads covering over 200 different animals, including mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, insects, mollusks, and other groups of animals.




Creation Process

During the preparation stage, I spent a lot of time searching for reliable sources to compile accurate lists of animals for each region. This was not easy, as information on the internet is often incomplete or erroneous.
Once the preparation was complete, I began creating the illustrations. This project became the most ambitious of my career. I painted over 200 animals using watercolor on paper in a realistic style. This process took several months of intensive work. After completing the drawings, I processed and refined them on the computer to assemble the finished book.

Result

I am very pleased with the final result. The illustrations turned out to be high-quality and detailed. This book has become the embodiment of my pursuit of perfection and love for nature.
